Brief Video About Texting/Cell Phone Bans and Van Pooling

I've been following some of the commentary about banning cell phone use while driving. In North Carolina it is already illegal to send text messages while driving. If I remember correctly when the law was passed it was represented as a way to protect very young drivers from themselves while behind the wheel. I read in the N&O recently that majority of the tickets they write for texting while driving are drivers over 25. Hmmmmm. Take a look at this map and see how cell phone use laws in North Carolina compare to other states.

Check out my video and see if you share the road with the same type drivers I see every week.
